If we are going the grade school route, I vote for a game of maul ball to determine starting order.

hahahahahaha that video is crazy. Too bad they denied the kid his comp liscense after that.
Idea: Let’s make sunday’s starting order random i.e. names out of a hat.
That’s the most horrible raw-deal I’ve ever seen. Was that a NASA event?
That was an SCCA event…if you notice when the grid worker said go…he deferred to the other car…that means you go to the back. Anyway he became one of the best Spec Miatia hot shoes in the country.
Will we have access to scales on Friday? I’m just assuming my car is in the ballpark weight-wise, but I really don’t know. Would be nice to know if I’ll need more than a spare and the little bit of lead I have already.

maybe in the afternoon. This event will have everyone getting annual tech inspections and there will not be room to set up the scales. I wouldn’t bank on being able to scale Friday.
it illustrates the importance of gridding properly and not trying to change things on the fly. If you’re not ready to go, you don’t go.

If you are there early enough…and you should be, there is time to advise the worker of the mistake. Once the cars roll…it is way too late and any issues need to be handled after the fact.
