Vibration under acceleration

#1

I am getting a vibration thru the car when accelerating. It happens in 2nd and 3rd gear at about 2500-3300 rpm (still driving the car on the street).

I thought it was the flex disk (Guibo) or center support bearing, so I replaced them both. That helped some, but I am still having the problem, mainly in 3rd gear at 3000 rpm.

Any thoughts?

If this is a low frequency vibration that feels like it is from under the car and is worse when the car is accelerating, the cause is likely to be binding u-joints in the drive shaft. If the rubber mount of the CSB had failed the cause is almost certainly the drive shaft.

I guess I am ordering a New Drive Shaft.

you can have the U-joints replaced and the drive shaft rebalanced. I paid $190 to do that in Denver earlier this year.
