Sorry Bruce,

I didn’t read it in the rules. I don’t run in Spec E30 or any class for that matter. This is something I developed for my own personal E30 and was curious if anyone here would be interested in them.

I am looking to produce these for sale and wanted to know if the SpecE30 crowd would be able to use them.

I figured it would be easier to simply ask here as you guys know the rules and regulations of your class.

LOL, Well I guess I will have to go fishing since I still have no answer. Do me good to know the rules anyways since I work on nothing but E30’s anyways.

Ok, went fishing and found no mention of the alternator in any of the rules. So this must fall under

"3.2. If the Regulations do not specifically permit a modification, it may not (3.1) be made."

Sorry guys. Thought this might be a nice addition for ya. Certainly would save some wear and tear on the alternator, free up a couple ponies too.
