Turn signal stalk

Yet another "Can I remove this?" question…

I’ve searched both here and in the rules without a clear answer.

Can I remove the turn signal stalk from the steering column?
If I don’t remove it now… it’s just going to break off when I’m getting in or out of the car.

On our 318, it’s broken off/sawed off short so that you can still use it but it doesn’t get in the way.

Hmmm :huh: I’m normally an all or nothing kind of guy… but that may be worth taking a look at.

After four years of Spec E30 racing, I haven’t broken mine off.

I searched the rules for "signal" and "stalk" and got nothing. The word "turn" only came up as "return" so…it must be left as it came from the factory.

Guys, this is the basic philosophy of Spec E30. If it is not specifically mentioned in the rules, leave it as it came from the factory. We do it this way so we don’t have to specifically list every single item that can be removed.
