Transmission needed

Johan needs a transmission. Anyone have one they can sell him? He’s in Huntersville, NC.

I need a trans too I think. When the car has been driven hard, you push in the clutch and pull the shifter to the left, between first and second, and it grinds, in the neutral position. I was told that someone on this forum was rebuilding transmissions for around $600.00. Who is that? Post here or e-mail me smckay@mckay-law.com

I am hell bent on getting this car ready quickly so I can come terrorize the SE.

Might be worth having someone diagnose Scott - could just be something mis-aligned in the shifter/linkage?

Andrew Zimmerman with Drive Gear has Rebuilt ones. I have mine on order with him.

currently have about 7-10 out there in spec e30 cars with zero issues. My tech has developed some special tools to make it much easier to disassemble. They are completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. Any questionable items are replaced, usually synchros or a main bearing, perhaps a gear. The case is cleaned and they are reassembled with all new seals. Its a quality rebuild for a fair price, total no-brainer. $600 with your core returned to me. +1 for Andrew’s transmissions. I got one from him a while back and it has been excellent. One less thing to worry about.
