Tranny Refurbish?

Broke 4th gear at the NASA National so we picked up a used transmission to replace it while we take it apart and see if it’s worth fixing 4th.

We plan on putting a breather on the replacement but what other stuff should we do to the tranny before we put it in? We were thinking seal replacement but what else?

Seal replacement is about it. The vent tube saves some fluid as some of them spit out quite a bit and others don’t.

I have done nothing else to any of mine.
