Tow Strap?

I have an 87 with big bumpers. Where can i get a tow strap to attach to the factory steel eye under the bumper? I see everyone has red straps but i don’t see on any supplier websites what i am looking for.

I have an '87 and what I did is cut the stitches out making the strap have a bigger loop. Otherwise there will be very little material for the crew to hook to.

Behind the air dam there is the factory tow eye run the strap between the air dam and the bottom of the bumper.

what is the metal fitting with the hole in it used for on the i/o port strap?

I think you are talking about the mount. It is just like a harness mount where you are supposed to drill through some solid metal and mount the strap to the metal with a bolt.

There’s probably a ton of ways to install the strap, but I simply looped mine around the bumper shock.
