Tow Strap mounting pics

I know this topic has been beaten to death but does this look right?

Seems to me that when being towed it would want to put a downward force on the top of the bumper. I read on here that some people are also wrapping it around the bumper shock.

Try running the strap under the bumper. I m not sure which air dam you will be running but I have an '87 front airdam and mine is mounted just like yours and comes straight out under the bumper but over the air dam.

for the tow strap, on plastic bumpered cars, I’ve seen people wrap the loop around the bumper shock (unbolt the bumper from the shock) and route it out over top of the bumper kinda like the pics above

That’s how mine is mounted on my plastic bumper car. Was pretty easy to do.
