A very good deal. But don’t the rules specify that the Longacre plates must be used when measuring for the track width limit? Seems like it makes sense to buy those instead.

The rule is just for measuring track width. There are a lot of different ways to measure toe correctly and most of them don’t involve plates. From the looks of the two pictures the only difference I see is that one has longacre stickers and one doesn’t. Unless you know the Longacre ones are made in the USA the name brand and no-name brand are both made on the same line in china.

I made a decent effort this morning to come up with a reply that would be 90% hilarity and 10% gentle sarcasm, but I just couldn’t pull it off. I should know better than to attempt hilarity before morning coffee.

Not sure where any of them are made, don’t really care either as long as they do what’s intended, i.e. measure toe :slight_smile:

i bought a set of these earlier this year, shipping was about $12 so i asked the seller how much it would cost to ship two sets and they replied $7. not $7 extra, $7 total. so i got two sets for $55 shipped. hooray for falling math literacy!
