On my old car, it was all crusty and you could just run the shop vac over it and get it off. On the new car, its nice and pliable. I’m thinking of crisping it with a torch and scraping off the crust.
Anyone have a better idea?

I just did this, mine was the same way. I used a heat gun and a putty knife. It was slow but it worked.
