It looks like a warm weekend for racing, the temps will be in the mid to lower 90deg and winds WNW at 4 mph cooling to the mid 60deg at night.

Already in the 90’s…Hot! Anybody using the cool suit system? Wondering if it really works for those blistering days at Thill.

Yes coolsuits work WELL. Wish we had one in this car.

I’m out - my car has been stuck in a shop for several weeks without progress.

Anybody have a referral for a shop that can fix the cage and floor pan? Mike, you have time for a project? My number is nine two five two zero two seven one one two.

I’m out for Thill, but hoping to make Reno in mid-June, then NASA at end of June.

Unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to make this weekend as I will be attending a close friend’s wedding and Kenny will be at Cal Speedway to support a BMW CCA event.

Looks like I’ll be doing my comp-eval in June as I was hoping to get it done in May. :frowning:

Hey Guy’s,

Looks like I will miss the Saturday race as they have changed it from the afternoon to the late morning. I have a Saturday morning commitment I just can’t get out of. I’m trying be up around 1:30 to 2:00 on Saturday afternoon and run in GTS and race spec e30 and GTS on Sunday.

I’ll be there both days…I’m testing on Saturday and, assuming all goes well, racing on Sunday:woohoo:

Pretty cool…our first lady NorCal SpecE30 racer!

I haven’t seen a sign up sheet from NASA yet…so I don’t know our total car count. If I find out I’ll post.

Hey guys,

Sorry you will not be out there this weekend but we hope to see you back out soon. Glen…very proud of you and can’t wait to mix it up on the track! You will do great! Bennett and I will be with Trackmasters on Friday so we will try to cordon off at least half the area. I think we will try to get the north side (closer to pre grid) if possible. Maybe Speedtrapp can be the divider in the middle? See you all at the track.

Weather update, HOT, middle 90deg.

BTM Motorwerks will be there. I actually have to leave early to go to Andy’s wedding on Saturday.
I was thinking I just might be able to complete the race, then shoot over to South Lake tahoe by 3PM for Andy’s Wedding. Do you think I could make it in 2.5 hours. It’s 186 miles.

I’m in for GTS, but I still not sure what class yet.

I also have more day glow on my car. Yea!

I am out. Mike has a possible buyer lined up for the 25 and does not want to risk it in the show. So I will be driving the green goblin in h2 on sunday instead.

with luck I will be back in an e30 for nats.
