Fellow Racers,
As it looks in the long range forecast there will be rain/showers Friday into Saturday morning with possible sprinkles throughout the day then mostly sunny and warmer Sunday.
Blustery as well.
Will keep you posted on any changes…

Good news, only showers remain in the forcast ending by 6am Saturday! The winds have died down also…Temps all weekend are cool 50 to mid 60.
I’m sure it will change by next weekend so stay tuned.
Dan,
I’ll be out there in G4 also. It’ll be fun! Also, did you hear that I met your girlfriend at a meeting this week?
Weather update, for the ones going to TrackMasters Friday it looks like a slight chance of rain in the early morning ending around 7am then 90% cloud cover throughout the day. A chance of showers returning by 9pm and continuing through the night ending again early AM Saturday then cloudy Saturday with improvement by Sunday with some sun. The WIND will be more of a problem then the showers, steady @ 18 to 25mph w/gusts to 30 Friday and Saturday with some let up Sunday, we all know how the wind can blow at T-Hill. High temps all days around 62 maybe 70 late Sunday.
So to sum it up, cool/cold and windy with showers through the period, if all goes well the days will be dryer w/showers at night.
I was up at T-Hill Saturday and the track is in great shape thanks to Will and his sweeper/wagon, he was also sporting the new Honda mini truck thing with blue lights flashing, man he looked official!
Stay tuned!
I can’t keep up with the changes, now there is rain/shower during the day Saturday with decreasing winds, nicer Sunday.
Here is another interpretation:
.EXTENDED DISCUSSION (FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT)…SIGNIFICANT
SHIFT TOWARDS A COOLER AND UNSETTLED PATTERN WILL BE IN THE WORKS
FOR THE LATTER HALF OF THIS WEEK. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
APPROACHING FROM THE NORTH WILL WORK TO FLATTEN THE EASTERN PACIFIC
RIDGE…BRINGING MORE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES AND AT LEAST A CHANCE OF
PRECIPITATION. THE MODELS CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE WITH TIMING AND
HANDLING OF THIS PATTERN SHIFT. THE MAJOR POINT OF CONTENTION AT
THIS TIME WILL BE THE HANDLING OF A CUTOFF LOW CURRENTLY FORMING
NORTH OF HAWAII. THE GFS AND ECMWF EVENTUALLY HAVE THE CUTOFF LOW
DRIFT EASTWARD AND HAVE ITS ENERGY REABSORBED INTO THE TROUGH
DIGGING SOUTHWARD THURSDAY. THIS SOLUTION WOULD BRING A FAIR BIT OF
SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WITH A PW PLUME OF
AROUND AN INCH. THE CANADIAN GEM MODEL DEVIATES FROM THIS SOLUTION
SIGNIFICANTLY…THE TROUGH WOULD SWING TO OUR EAST AND LITTLE
PRECIPITATION WOULD BE EXPECTED. THE SITUATION BECOMES MUDDLED AFTER
THE INITIAL WAVE…AS MULTIPLE SHORTWAVES BEGIN ROTATING AROUND THE
LONGWAVE TROUGH THAT SETS UP OVER US. TIMING OF ALL OF THESE
SHORTWAVES BECOMES TRICKY…BUT A CHANCE OF SHOWERS WILL GENERALLY
REMAIN IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
NEAR OR A BIT COOLER THAN NORMAL THROUGH THE EXTENDED PERIODS.
HA HA, Now partly sunny all weekend. I feel like a dog chasing my tail. Stay tuned I might put showers back in just for the hell of it!
Sorry about being all over the place but this is what is coming from the weather Gods every 4 hours…The models disagree, somewhat!
I think I’ll wait till 8am Saturday morning for my next forcast, see ya there rain or shineB)
I am up for the Casa on Friday for dinner. I plan to be at the track around 4:00 to 5:00 to drop the car off. I would be honored to sit down and eat with the man who is second place in points, at least until after Saturday’s race.B)

Dude, at first I thought you were inviting Donny or Carl to dinner with us. A rounding error separates 2-5, very close and exciting racing!
Dinner’s on - I’m on the same schedule. Drop the car off around 4, grab a beer and some enchiladas.

I think you’re giving me too much credit - Donny is going to hold onto first.
We likely won’t be to Casa in time as we’re going to be leaving around 6pm, getting to TH around 9. I think they close at 10, but if the lights are on I’m in for a marg!
