You can swap a front shock at the track in an hour or two. The shock is an insert inside the strut housing, so you have to disassemble the strut to do it. If you still have stock springs, spring compressors are a must. If you pull the strut housing off of the control arm and tie rods with a pickle fork, there’s a risk of tearing one of the boots.

I don’t have stock shocks, but I do have a used spec e30 shocks/springs/camber plates kit with 4 weekends of total use on them. If you’re interested in going to spec suspension sooner, you can have the set for what I paid for it (roughly half of new).

Sounds like there is gonna be a lot of fresh meat in the water.

What is the count now Scoot?

With this rain, I might have to do a little race tune up in the snow… everybody get up to Squaw on Friday!

Anybody have a set of rear race pads they want to sell me at THill? I’m not picky, I’ll take used pads, or even the evil hawk blues.

#28

I have a used set of Hawks(I don’t believe blue’s) that I’m not using. I need to find them. You can come by my shop today or call me at the shop. 408-369-1911
