Thanks Andy!
Credit Bennett McMicking for the idea of a group shot. Plus he helped me organize it. Dito Milan at GotBlueMilk photography was great to work with and gave us more photos than I asked for. I’ll have the links for Hi-Res versions up soon so folks can download. Special requests for the Lepper-Edwards Full Moon Shot can be offered too.

Cheers,
Scott

Thanks for putting together the Photo! Great idea and great execution. Hopefully certain files disappeared, for the good of all. Sometimes a memory is MORE than enough.

Congratulations to TFB for another winning car, and Mike Courtney as driver. Congrats to BTM and Brad for learning, growing, and continuing his points lead. To Steve “Ironman” Ferrario for finding his “pace” again and challenging Mike. To Greg Peterson for his consistancy and probably moving into 2nd place in the points. Congrats to Bennett for joining the rare Air. and to Scoot for having a car that was drivable both days. Also thanks Ron, although you wagged your tail at me pretty hard you kept it from hitting me…Thanks.

Thanks to all the guys who raced Jeff and I cleanly, it was nice to bring the car home with no new marks. We did everything we could to make a slow car as wide as possible and all of you found a way to pass me clean without incident. I could see the drool coming out of the side of your mouths as you came up on me drifting throught he turns. I hope someone has video of Jeff and/or I from behind (not Jeff’s “BEHIND”).

The 2, 3, and 4 wide racing was fun. Sorry there was an incident on Saturday that ended someones weekend earlier (4 wide in the fastest turn is a challenge).

Finally thanks to Brad of BTM and Rick of North Bay Bavarian for working together on my car at the Dyno. In the true spirit of this series that makes it great, they worked side by side on my car trying to help me (their competitor) get faster! I offered to pay them and neither would accept. I am so very appreciative of their attitude and kindness.

I will post a little video later in the week of the start on Sunday.

Thanks to all my fellow NorCal Spec E30 competitors.

BTW Saturday at Casa Ramoswas a Hoot! (Your margarita is still at the bar Scoot)

Quick teaser - the video of Sunday from the #19 car where I spent most of the time in 6th behind Brad / Greg / Lauren is epic. So much good racing - should be used as a training video. Will try to get it done / BTM Blog update / etc as soon as I can!

Okay - Sunday race video is processing on Vimeo. I got a new camera that shoots great 720p/60fps video, but with upload limitations, it’s a bit lower res…I’m considering upgrading to Vimeo Plus, but I’ll have to see how much the new ballast costs first.

Anyhow enjoy - Lauren, if this keeps up I’m putting my sponsor stickers on the back of your car…it only took about 5 tries to get by you.

Bennett,
Nice driving & nice video…Man, that was close on the last lap, you almost made yourself a lambshishkabob. Pretty quick reflexes there…Keep charging, you’re really improving out there…But I missed a gin & tonic with AFL? what’s up with that.

So I’m expecting you to post to the BBQ topic with a YES, I’ll bring the BIG WEBBER.

The BTM Motorwerks Racing Blog has been updated!

http://btmmotorwerksracing.blogspot.com/2011/05/thunder-strikes-twice-part-1-saturday.html

And Saturday’s race starting from 26th…although I didn’t get the image stabilization right and it’s kinda shaky. Great battle at the end with Derek, Scott, Bryan and Jeff.

Thanks for posting your videos! I needed a drink to relax my nerves after watching that…I got the jitters! I take it you were on cords there at the end

Next month when it comes to the stabilization setting…Just say NO.

Probably wont see you all until THill in August. Our motor ain’t right yet, so although it is always great to see you all, It is a big exercise in long-suffering to run around in the back trying to hold you sharks off.
