The 93 Car

#1

Right in front of my eyes and pushing 100 plus mph the infamous turn 10 at Infineon Raceway collected the 93 car during Sundays qualifying leaving it completely smashed at both ends and the side. Luckily and with a quality build all safety equipment worked as it was supposed to and Steven walked away without a scratch, Thank God!

Good luck with the rebuild and let us know if we can help…!

To all racers,

Check and recheck your safety gear and make sure it’s perfect, your life depends on it!!!

Cheers

I would first like to express my gratitude & thanks to the entire NorCal spec e30 group.
I was touched & ever so appreciative that each & every one of you came by to see that I was alright after my accident. I think nothing speaks louder to quality of individuals that make up this fine group. So with that, I would like to once again, give thanks & say thank you to all.

See you at Thunderhill.

Glad you’re still with us Steve.

I had to restrain myself from jumping out of the car to go to the 93. I was reminding myself of the quality emergency team we have and I would not be helping. I was elated to see Steve walking away!

It took alot of force to bend up that car the way it did, clearly Steve’s safety equipment did it’s job, and the car BMW built as well, sacrificed itself for Steve’s benefit. I think Steve’s fitness may have helped him as well. I don’t think I would be without body aches and pains today, as Steve is.

Steve has expressed his desire to get back in the saddle soon and clearly runs with a GREAT group of guys. It IS why we drive so far north.

Steve, We Love You Man!

Steve…so glad you walked away from that wreck!! Turn 10 is my least favorite turn EVER  It claims a lot of cars…I’m sorry to see the beautiful 93 car become another victim. HeadOnPhotos gave me some photos for the website…I picked up this one of your crash. I’ll be glad to help out with the build of a replacement!

We Love You Man!
