In the process of trying to remove the glovebox from my car without messing with the bolt in rollcage, I accidentally nicked up the wiring harness a bit. It looks like I only caught two wires though. One is brown and was encased in clear plastic along with another wire that was black. I think there’s just enough wire left for me to be able to splice them. The other wire is yellow and is encased in a black sheath. There’s another wire in there too but I can’t see what color it is. I didn’t do much damage to the yellow one so I may just wrap it with some electrical tape and call it a day.
Anyways, are any of these two wires extremely important? I’d like to know going in if I can just botch them together or if I need to be really precise.
