tagging along and learning at cmp

#1

Hey guys first let me tell ya want I would like to do,That’s watch learn and ask a hole lot of questions at cmp on the 12-14 feb more then likely just the 14th enless some one wants free help

Im a 23 year old living in sc with a love for racing and a will to learn every thing I can about any thing
I went to 6 months of nascar tech after I got out the Army and got burnt out on driving an hour every day and the way things where, big change from the Army to there. So I had a family friend more like a uncle that has been into racing that works for a scca team that help me work with those guys last season when I lived in N.C. I have been playing with rock crawlers all winter and there just not as fun as going racing so I want to get back into the raceing sceen for sure.

I have spent hours researching the best class for me to start with and the things I need todo to get where I wanta be.

So CMP is the closest and most practical for me to come talk to the guys that are running spec e30 and get first hand info the post are great and my hand hurts from clicking threads.

If some one wouldnt mind me stoping by there pit’s to talk look and hang out I would be most great full. (If you could use some help let me know I’m will to do any thing from lay under car and whip up oil spill to purging tires.

Thank you for your time and hope to see you this weekend

a largish group of people are doing comp school on fri (myself included) and i hear it’s pretty hectic, if you’re willing to hang around and help out with basic stuff like checking tires, lugs, fluids, etc it would probably be appreciated.

Sounds great pm sent with contact info god willing I will see you guys Friday.

You’re certainly welcome to hang out with us. The normal hanging out, telling lies, fart/belching contests, swapping wives/girlfriends, turning cars over, mud wrestling, BBQ’s, drinking beer and other assorted foolishness might be a little lean this weekend because it’s supposed to be pretty cold.

Do yourself a favor and stop before its too late. And if you’re wondering what too late is then come ask any one of us in the paddock at CMP - however, that means you’re already pass the point of no return.

Oh I will see you all tomarrow at the paddock around 10am I guess enless some one wants me to be there earlyer to help them out Im only an hour and half away so I could come earlyer I figured every one will be setteled in by then and I want bother them while they prepair and what not.

If any one would like some help or any thing let me know phones 828-381-1159. I plan to leave here around 8am so any time before them 2am call work use to it.)

Cocktailing aint that right!!! You got me I can’t spell, that why it’s most important for you guys to LEARN ME all you can while I’m at cmp!!!
All jokes aside she isn’t working at a strip club and I’m not having her pay for my racing I’m a grown man that will support my racing my self…
Thanks for playing

BMWBOY - Don’t let Gasman get to you. Believe it or not, he probably thought that post was funny even though it came out mean. Come on out and see what it is all about. I will be in the silver/red/black car. It is a great group of folks and it is cheap racing, but - fair warning - racing ain’t cheap!
