Super Cool Newbie Racer Question of the Day

#1

Okay… so the nice Fed Ex guy arrives at my door today with a box containing both my new racing suit and my cool shirt. :stuck_out_tongue: I try everything on and miracle of miracles everything fits (although the shoulders on the suit are a bit on the broad side!)
Dangling from the cool shirt are the hoses that attach to the system’s cooler that we’ve mounted in the trunk. (I know you’ve all thinking - no duh!) So here’s the question: How the heck do I get that hose that’s on my shirt, that I’m wearing INSIDE my suit to the OUTSIDE so that I can attach it to the system? I don’t actually put a hole in suit do I?

(I can’t believe I actually have to ask this…)

Thanks!
Natalie ( & John too… he doesn’t know either;) )

Cut a hole in the pocket. Small hole.

I’ve seen people make a hole in the pocket and bring them out there. Slightly more discrete than putting the hole at the bottom of the zipper…

Your racing suit should have a double-ended zipper, and you can sneak the free ends of the shirt tubing out the lower end of the zipper then slide it closed.

Try to stay away from small kids and protective moms, 'cause from some angles it can look a bit…obscene.

Chuck - so it does - I missed that - as did Natalie. And it is double obscene for my wife to walk around like that - I may need to see a therapist…

Ah ha! That makes sense… hopefully it won’t interfere with the lap belts.

(and I’ll try not to leak when I get out of the car :cheer: )

Natalie,
Thanks for asking the question. (I’ve been trying to figure out the same thing  )
