Subframe and Diff Mounts

#1

Hello Folks,

Had a few questions regarding subframe and diff mounts.

Regarding subframe mounts,

What are your experiences with solid aluminum sub mounts?

Would you consider 75D Poly mounts as a alternative?

On the diff mount, I am considering a adjustable solid aluminum diff mount.

Anyone have any experience with these?

What are the advantages?

Thanks kindly in advance.

there have been a few threads in the last year on this topic.
I suspect that the adjustable diff mount is not allowed since it enables the suspension pickup points to be moved.
cheers,

We have 80 and 95 and Aluminum Subframe bushings available. 95D is pretty stiff and pretty user friendly.

Aluminum is the best but it has drawbacks. Once installed it cannot be readily removed and reused for instance. If you have to replace the subframe you’ll also have to replace a 150 dollar set of bushings too. Urethane can probably be knocked out and reused.
