such a bummer. Am really sorry to see you go Brian.

#3

I hate to do it but I just don’t have the time to race right now. Id rather it go to someone who can use it rather than have to look at it sitting in my garage going un-raced. Besides, Its time Ive become a better racer and this is a sure fire way.

#4

Nooooooo…Cover it and take a break but you need to get back to the track even with a few kids. Thats why we bring a slip and slide.

#5

I think I just heard Madooski crap his pants. That is a great deal, Brian. I hate to see you go Geegar on us, but I understand.

Maybe you can join us for the Son-Of-DTOM Probably 2012 Chump Car effort. “Guys who thought they could wheel a Spec E30.” I’ve confirmed Robinson and Geegar are in.

Just to completely confirm you’ve lost your manhood, it’s a Miata.

Steve D,

Well, you know what they say. Those cats arent going to nanny themselves. I read his how to writeup online. I think Ill be good at it.

The Chumpcar event sounds like fun. Email me the details if you dont mind.

I’ve heard about enough of this crazy talk.

Don’t burst my bubble. I’m still at the point where I’m imagining that I’ll be able to race with a kid in the house. The first one is due to show up in late April.

Sorry to see you getting out and I wish we’d been able to race together more, but good luck with the sale. It looks to be a super deal.

Matt

I have twins, you can do it. I have cut way back though.

Be strong. My first couple of years of racing I was doing 2 events/month, often 3-day events. At home with the lawyer-chick, that first year of racing, was a 4yr old and 2X 2yr olds. It’s do-able. You may lose a little sleep, but you can sleep when you’re dead.

#11

I have beaten this car repetitively and can say with 98% accuracy that the car is absolutely capable in the right hands. Good luck with the sale. It is a great car.

#12

Car is SOLD!

The proud new owner is Matt Henry in Charlotte. Not sure if he is on the boards yet or not but he is planning to do comp school in June at Road Atlanta.

I’ve had an absolute blast racing Spec E30. The racing is fun but nothing beats the people in NASA, especially the SE region. Ive made a lot of great friends and had some of the best times in my life at the track with all of you. I hope to see you at a race track near you soon jut to hang out and lend a hand when I can.

So when you see the Ex-BeerTech #380 car on track (or in the paddock), remember its not mine anymore before you punt it off track or fill it with roadkill or other “matter”.

Thanks,
Brian

#13

Thanks again Brian. It was great meeting you and I am excited to get the #380 out on the track and getting to know the NASA SE peeps.

This guy just call us chickens?

The reverend Al and Travis will take care of him.

Buying from Jones was the first mistake.
But the “peep” mistake was/is exponentially bigger.

Welcome to the fray.

We may be peeps, but we know how to party.

Welcome Hank. If you bought a used car from Jones, your sense of good judgment will fit in just fine in the Southeast.

Thats hilarious. I blame the peep comment on daylight savings time.

#18

Hank, welcome.

When you decide to repaint, you should give Target a call and see if they want to sponsor you. A big red bullseye on all 4 sides could make it official.

#19

Target sponsership is already in the works. They will supply my trailer with all kinds of home furnishings and Ill put and bunch targets around my car. Gee, I hope no one punts me.

#20

If you get the Target deal, watch out for jet driers on the track…

Welcome to the madness!
