Spec E30 estimates

#1

Hi everyone,
It’s me again, :stuck_out_tongue:

My friend said that Spec E30 racing is not that expensive compared with Spec Focus and there are more racers. Would like to get an overview of the total racing drivers and vehicles for Spec E30.

I was just wondering how many drivers and vehicles are there per Spec E30 Race Event? Also, what is the estimated number of events that happen every year.

Cheers,
April

There are way more spec E30 drivers than Spec Focus. I think there might have been 5 Spec Focus cars at Nationals compared with 17 Spec E30s. Also 5 is the most I have ever seen at any event, there were 28 spec E30’s at VIR. You’d be silly to run Spec Focus, the cars are more expensive, they are front wheel drive, less competition etc etc I could go on but won’t bother.

First off, what region are you in? Go to whatever region you are in check out their Nasa site. You can start here and then go to whatever region you are in and check the schedule, results etc

I went ahead and looked through the profile section here on this site. Now these numbers are not going to 100% accurate but will give you a general idea of the numbers in each region.

For sure…

I think we will have at least six active racers in northern CA next year, I don’t know where you hail from but spec e30 looks like a blast.

It seems like there are more than 20 active Southeast racers?

There probably are I just took the numbers from the profiles to give an idea. For instance skeen is shown as building a car and I think its safe to say that his car is built and running

Another one planning to build in the Southeast.

It will probably be 2009 before I’m racing, I hope there’s still room on the track!
