Spec E30 Coloring Book

#1

As I contemplate how to make my car look bad-ass (and lose the wussy Bronzit color), I have created the following "blank" spec racers to be colored in the old-fashioned way; I suck at Photoshop. Now that I’ve made these, I thought I’d share them for any others planning stickers, color, etc. A couple of notes:

-Sorry plastic bumper owners, this is a much cooler aluminum bumper car.
-I have the Team Dynamics 5 spokes in black, so that’s what’s on here.
-This car was from an unlowered version, so it has dorky big space above the wheels.
-I’m planning on blacking out my entire bumper and all chrome trim, so it’s black here.

If these aren’t up to snuff for you, lick it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Sasha, this might be flashy enough for you

I guess I’ll never live down the appearance of my Bronzit car! Thanks for completing the wheels and lowering it, though.

Just right BRONZIT on the side of the car so that eveyone will know that THAT is what’s making them feel sick. . . .

I think the least expensive way to distract from the Bronzit Beige is to run these lightweight, SpecE30 legal 14x6" Ronal Wheels (they even come in an E30 fitment – no spacers!):

Instant Street Cred!

Dan, I don’t care what you say, that’s funny. The Ronal wheels make it tempting to do a care bear car. And, don’t tempt me…Regards, Robert Patton

LOL. I’ve seen those goofy wheels before. Robert, instead of a Care Bear car (what would a Care Bare car look like?), how about a psychedelic, tie died Grateful Dead car? Bret’s "Art Car" paint scheme is alreday most of the way there; just add a giant peace symbol to the hood and these dancing bears and you’re good to go! (Incidentally I think I’ve lost it since I’m now chiming in with crazy theme car ideas). :woohoo:

Has anyone actually bought a set of those wheels???

Dan,Carter,Sasha, others, I tried to buy some bear wheels yesterday. The care bear car would be a real hit in the paddock. I’m having lunch with Seth Thomas today and I’m going to try to talk him into racing with us on a limited basis. Seth in the Bear Machine??? However, Ronal have sold-out and I couldn’t find any thing on ebay. Help from others with too much time on their hands?Regards, Robert Patton
