"9.3.8.9. Suspension bushing material replacement is permitted."
Is there an advantage to using solid/metal susp. bushings? It’s a huge cost jump form delrin/poly and I am wondering if it’s really worth it.
Thanks!

It’s a fairly marked difference. If you can eliminate flex in the chassis and compliance in bushings the car will work more like it was designed to do. Also the settings you develop statically on the alignment rack or scales is held in place and you’ll have much better feel and the car will be much more precise.
All the bushings in my car are Delrin or Aluminum. There are only 4 major bushings in the BMW suspension and that in itself makes replacement and repair pretty cheap.
