Car located near St. Paul, MN
Clean Title

I purchased this car in '21 for some reliable track day fun. My project car left me sidelined at too many events. This E30 filled the gap perfectly for the 2-3 HPDE weekends I do each summer. Other than regular fluid changes, fresh rubber, and pads/rotors, it hasn’t needed a thing. Starts strong and runs great. Easily the most affordable track toy I’ve owned. I’m ready for something new and think this car deserves to do some real SpecE30 racing it was built for or simply be somebody’s track toy.

It is clear the former owner was meticulous in every detail. His posting was more of a short story. I’ll share the relevant history only:

The car has been stored in a climate controlled garage for years so it’s lived a good life when not battling for position. This car was built by DP Motorwerks in Virginia Beach and raced by the shop owner for a few years. Then he sold it to me in 2008. My goal was a 100% reliable and competitive car. The car was built well by a pro and then each winter I went over every system in the car upgrading and replacing all the big and small bits that could give you a DNF. The car finished every race or track session it entered. It truly is a great, reliable and comfortable car to race and even gotten me to the podium a few times.

- The cage meets all CCR mandates and has some nice extra bars around the seat shoulders and gussets at the intersection points. Seats are Sparco Evo with expired FIA dates. FYI I get an error when I try to use the photo link.

Also if the correct diff ratio listed in the ad? (As that would not be spec legal as listed)

Thanks, I consulted with a friend who knows a lot more about BMW diffs than I do. He corrected me that it is a 3.73. I’ve updated the post.

I also fixed the link so that all should be able to see it.
