Bill, yes that is the plan. Depending on your tolerance for boredom (remember, I’m the host) 8:00 to 8:30 is good.
Number of people?
Pizza, subs or will you already had some dinner?
Regards, Robert

Chi, Mike Skeen will not be attending the Atlanta event. So, the answer is, “yes” the gathering is open to all of us non-racers.
Regards, Robert
Just one person (my wife will be sleeping by then) and no food for me but I’ll bring some home made baked goods.
Go Skeen!

I’ve arranged for a private screening prior to the airing at its normal time. Thanks to Jim Pantas for the great idea. BRE, NASA-SE, and SPEED are hosting a SETUP finale viewing party at 7pm at BRE in Concord. Mike Skeen allegedly will attend. We will be flogging him if it turns out he got beat in the final.
SPEED Swag and free food for everyone.
OH, and anyone in attendance is sworn to silence so we don’t mess up the drama for the rest of you schmucks who have to wait for the broadcast.

You guys suck. I don’t even have an adjective that adequately describes the magnatude of your suckage. That sounds like it’s going to be fun as hell and I’m two states away. I’m so pissed, me and my $3000 boots are going back to Brazil.
Robert,
Seeing as most everyone isn’t arriving until 8:00 or 8:30 (after dinner), Wendy and I will most likely do the same so please disregard the previous pizza order and we’ll see you around 8:00.
Thanks,
If anyone from the GA group just happens to have someone in Charlotte right now and on their way home…I can cut another DVD and hand it off to you. I’m just getting the feed down from the satellite now, or I’d have fed exed it to Mr. Patton.
Call me on my cell if you want it.

Joe, thanks for the offer, but it looks like we’re stuck hanging out until 10:00.
I hope ya’ll have a big turn-out and, for Mike, something to celebrate.
Regards, Robert Patton
I am going to have to beg off on tonight. It doesn’t look like I will get out of work early enough to make it at a decent time. Got a deal closing tomorrow.
That sucks. At least The Skeen got some killer press. I guess it doesn’t matter anyway as far as Pro rides are concerned. The Skeen WILL go Pro, and the show did its job for him…Exposure. Congrats on “Rising to the Top” Mike.
I’ve never met Skeen but the way he carried himself on the show and the obvious respect everyone here on the forum makes me glad to have learned of him.
Mr Skeen you seem to have the driving tools to go a long way and I hope you do.
BTW the best racing I’ve seen so far is on his website. That in car footage is awesome!

Boosted cars suck.
Or blow.
Either way, I bet Skeen never wants to hear the word ‘intercooler’ again.
Way to go Mike.
I hate that you weren’t able to finish the race and win what was yours for the taking. Anyone who watched the show knows you were the man to beat.
Tough break were all very proud of how you represented NASA and especially Spec E30.
