Thoughts on E30 4 door? Is coupe only way to go?
The reason I ask is I might have access to an almost “free” 4 door in running condition.
Sedan?

Plenty of people run 4-doors. Mechanically they are the same. Differences come down to personal preference.
Opening rear doors can be a plus, smaller door opening for the driver can theoretically be a minus, but otherwise they are about the same.
It’s hard to pass up almost-free, so you should go for it.

It’s a lot easier to change the fuel pump on a 4 door. Plus you can run it in the World Challenge Touring Car series later on

I wish mine was a 4 door. A number of projects have required removing the passenger seat and doing the human pretzel around the cage.
