I’m looking to put in a new seat base and would like to get the whole setup lower than the current setup. Unfortunately going to a fixed setup is not practical for a multi-driver car. The current setup is seat base adapter, sliders, race seat side brackets. The current base is an unknown base as it came with the car (perhaps an old version of Wedge Engineering brkts) and also weighs a ton. What are others using on slider based setups?

BMW factory slider base: cut and welded to whatever seat mount that you have.
Logic: it met BMW safety concerns.
