Sears Point 6/30 report
I’ll let the real racers ring in on the race results.
The group is getting pretty organized in our paddock thanks to Donnie, Steve and I think Kevin. Good times hanging out with the Austin Fords and the rest of the BMW guys.
Our esteemed Regional Director replaced his diff on in the paddock Sunday morning before practice. I was hella impressed showing up at 7am and he was just finishing.
Steve Russo dinged his bumper a little  on some muscle car’s lost gasoline at the top of the esses. The track was closed for 20m while they fixed the wall. The good news was Steve was fine and did a 5 mile run on Sunday morning before coming over to Infineon to let everyone know he was ok. He had his video camera mounted on the passenger side A-pillar roll bar and I can’t wait to see the video. Scary moments for sure when we heard it was Steve.
My car is the ugliest one in the paddock and I’m damn proud of that fact. I’m still coming up with ways to make it even uglier. It’s a sleeper.
We miss you there Igor and would love to see you come out!
Cheers,
-AJ
