SE Welcomes Scott Gress as new SpecE30 Director
Congratulations, Scott. Were it not for your input this web site would be, well let’s just say “kinda slow,” right now. Keep up the enthusiasm as best you can and we’ll collectively try to bring new folks into the sport.

Well, there goes the neighborhood!
But seriously Scott, you have a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for our racing group and you’ll do a great job.
NASA speed news is going to be filled with stories about cute chicks and beer, we can be sure of that!
Thanks for the kind words. I’m concerned that I will have problems showing the same discipline to “stay out of the fray” like Robert, Chuck and Fred has. I’m not good at sitting on my hands when the fur is flying.
Re. the NASA write-ups. I’ll have to work on that. Writing a straight piece will be a challenge. The temptation is overwhelming to describe the SpecE30 paddock as http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1988-03-20/sports/0020430041_1_sebring-12-hours-infield
and introduce next year’s rookies… http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1089825-20-sexist-women-of-the-racing-world
Write it however you like, Scott. The editor will fix it for you.
He fixes mine all the time… 400 words or less he says… well… I gots stuff to say!
Great news! Congrats Scott and thanks for taking the reins!
Also, a big Thank You to Fred for his fine work in 2013.
