SE Points and Genos Cup Points

#1

These will be posted soon on the NASA-SE site with the rest of the current SE points standings, but I thought you all might be interested in a sneak peak.

They can be viewed at http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pitd0jqCDk0kKidTy_jpgVg&hl=en

Disclaimer: If you catch a mistake, don’t shoot the author, but do let me know please. I believe I caught the typos and think I’ve interpreted the rules on finishers/non-finishers etc. correctly.

You’ll see that JP is currently in the lead, due to a unique combination of perfect attendance and consistent top-3 finishes. Skeen, R. Patton, Moses and Geiger make up the rest of the top 5.

Could be a good opportunity for some of the midpoint crowd to move up a bit in the standings at Barber in 2 weeks.

Thanks, Chuck. In the Genos Cup chase, I was glad to see:

Berghausen=176 points
Jones=125 points

That’s all I need,
Sasha

Yeah, Yeah. Too bad your season is over. I was looking forward to making you a t-shirt at seasons end that showed how badly I beat your ass. Dont worry, you can tell everybody that you would have beat me if only…:kiss:

Are we not using the default points system from the CCR (regarding dropped races)?

#5

The short answer is no drops in SpecE30 in SE. Cullen and I discussed with Pantas before the season started and posted this announcement:

Gotcha. I vaguely remembered that, but wanted to be sure.

Chuck, I didn’t see the original post discussing no dropped races and all events would count. For what its worth, I would agree this is the best way to handle it. However, you should be very careful quoting the CCR’s, that has a tendancy to piss people off. Ask me how I know. :wink:

I don’t think I’m going to win it this year.

The NASA points on the website have been updated. You might want to bookmark this link, as it will be updated throughout the rest of the season.

There is a small mistake with Sasha and Pantas (they should have 28 points instead of DNF for the first RRR race) but it has been noted for the next update.
