SE 6th Place Trophy Award Gets Even Better!!!

#1

In order to spice up the SE races a little more, Bimmerwold has committed to sponsor the coveted Sixth Place Trophy award for the remainder of the season.

Not only will the winner receive the limited edition art work/trophy and a limited edition BeerTech T-shirt, Bimmerworld has put up one set of Performance Friction Front Brake Pads!

As usual the award will only be given for the Saturday sprint race. To be eligible for the brake pads the sixth place winner must have Bimmerworld stickers on the car. Find one of the BeerTech crew in the paddock if you don’t already have some. If you don’t yet have a BeerTech sticker, well, you will soon!

Good Luck!

Sweet! I am shooting for sixth!

#3

Crap, how the heck are we going to avoid rear-end collisions at the finish line?

#4

 That’s the same thing I said to JP when he first told me about this.

#5

It should really make for an interesting 4-8 battle.

#6

That is awesome news. 6th is the new 1st. Take that Skeen!! T-shirt, handcrafted trophy, and free stuff vs. plastic trophy and some toyo bucks.

#7

Let’s see…$25 Toyo bucks for 5th or $125 brake pads for 6th. I was already backpedaling through the pack, now I’ve got a great excuse. Thanks JP.

Regards, Robert Patton

#8

Hmm…

1st place toyo bucks = $150
2nd place toyo bucks = $100

If yer not first, yer la–uhhh–sixth!

Chuck, How 'bout a Factory THREE prize. How’s that for pressure on a sponsor?

Not fair, he already does the IFU race.

The great thing about the IFU… win all win!

#11

When are we doing another IFU?

#12

Roebling in May?

#13

That’s what I heered…

but the rumor has it that the format of the race is changing :woohoo:

#14

Yep. IFU-2 is going to be a bonus race again at Roebling in May.

The format IS going to change, and I’m happy to accept suggestions for a new format, as long as they come wrapped with a $50.

Got several thoughts bouncing around up there, but for starters, y’all block that weekend out on your schedules and make sure we have the biggest SE30 field to date at Roebling in May!

#15

Hey, it’s great to have the series recognition and support from the gang at Bimmerworld! Good work by JP to make the call to get this started.

Now, I’ve just got to remember to bring extra incident review forms, because I expect a bunch of brake-checking at the finish lines this year.

It is bad enough worrying about the guy behind you trying to pass, now you have to worry about the guy in front of you too!

Are you talking about the IFU, 6th place sandbaggers or both?
