SCCA ITS crossover question

I want to make sure my car can run in SCCA ITS also. I want to remove the whole sunroof "cartridge" - the part the sunroof slides back into. Do you guys read the following ITS rule as allowing this (sunroof frame)?

Seems pretty clear to me that ITS allows the removal of the sunroof assembly.

Good luck running in ITS. Please update the group on how competitive your car is in their series of events as many have thought about crossing over, but realize the limitations of our stock engine. Regards, Robert Patton

thanks guys. I mostly view running in ITS as a way to get more experience if the SCCA schedule works out better for me. I don’t expect to be competitive.

I also asked my questions over on the improvedtouring.com board and they concur that the whole sunroof cassette can come out. I also found out that the power steering has to stay in place for ITS.

thanks,
