Santa's Toy Run Recap and Video

#1

First off, I want to thank the SE Spec E30 bunch for being welcome hosts to this transplanted, NASA-SE/NE/Mid-Atlantic racer. Even though I am in Connecticut, I still consider NASA-SE to be my home region. Hopefully in about two years, I will be back down with you guys full time.
Second, thank you all for voting to put me on the pole for Sunday’s race. I don’t think I would’ve had the success I did if I had started in the rear. It really did a lot to help my confidence after a poor showing on Saturday.
Finally, I will not make any excuses for my performance this past weekend. I was ready to blame tires, horsepower and everything else before looking at the lugnut behind the wheel. Once I started to get comfortable in the car, my times started to reflect that. There is still more to be found and I will be working towards being a front runner soon enough. Without further ado, here are the highlights from Sunday’s race. Saturday will not be available as trimming your toe and finger nails would provide more excitement.

Thanks again guys

Enjoyed the video. Looked like you were short shifting your gears quite a bit.

That’s a long drive Michael. Is very cool of you to come all that way to spend a weekend with us.

Well worth the rediculous gas expense to see my SE family.:silly:
