If Craig can ever finish that high I think you’ll see that level of excitement.
We really need to produce a short in-car video where a driver screams at the checkered flag while being passed at the finish line…

"I WAS SIXTH! I WAS SIXTH! I WAS SIXTH!!!…"
That’s a great idea!

I’ll set up my camera for the Saturday race at RRR… and you guys let me come in 6th.

Kelly - I think Patton just said you won’t finish higher then 6th…
I took that to mean we he was worried about getting bumped from the top six. Either way, you should get a good show from the back of the pack.

Ah, jimmy, jim. jimster… It is smart to be careful with your wording on the internet!

The statement, "Dang, there is going to be lots of competition for the Geiger Trophy" is correct. Ha, ha, I didn’t put Kelly directly in that 6th place category.Heck, we’ve got to get him to commit to race before we can categorize him.

If I drive like I did at Road Atlanta then a 6th place will be a good one for me. But I’ve been good at Roebling before, so come on down and give it a go for first place.

Regards, Robert Patton

You go ahead and keep driving like you did at RA, that was a good weekend.

So is it a sure thing that Kelly can race with us at RR, or has Wendy got other plans for Mr. Man?

I haven’t registered yet so it’s not a done deal. Wendy said I could go if I can sell enough parts from the parts car to cover the cost. So far things are going pretty well.

In fact, I am looking at camping out at the track in an effort to reduce expenditures… We’ll have to see, I haven’t been camping twenty years

Kelly, you are more than welcome to use my enclosed trailer if you like. Bring an air mattress and a sleeping bag. I recently installed an AC unit, so if I can find a power pole to plug in, you’ll be set. Al camped in it at CMP and nearly froze to death.

TO: Jim, Craig, Laura, Al, Travis, Steven . . . .
From: JP

You guys don’t forget to thank Chuck, Robert, and Pantas for the inverted race. It’ll be your only chance to be in front of me all weekend!

Make sure you REALLY enjoy the parade lap before I pass you into T1.

Humbly,

JP "Smokey" Coates

  1. I’ve already thanked them, but thanks again Chuck,
    Robert, and Jim!

  2. You’re in for a rude awakening! I’ve been dragging a
front tire down the track for a long time now. Fresh
alignment, new tires, spacers, and exhaustive testing
in my new wind tunnel using my new supercomputer while
working with Max, with his Ph.D. in computational
fluid dynamics, has me firmly prepared to deliver you
    a sound whoopin’!

sincerely in front of you,
Steven

Hell… I’m gonna drive my hardest just to watch you 2 fools battle for mid pack supremacy

Oh and by the way… I’m gonna be on heavy 14’s with old tires :S
