I saw this post on the CR list (“Ryan” had a blown motor).
Has anyone here rotated their oil filter like this? Seems like a good thing to do if everything (oil cooler lines, etc) lines up ok.

(like free) way to relocate an M20 oil filter is to unbolt and rotate the
oil filter housing 180 degrees so the butt end of the filter points directly
towards the front of the car. This gets the filter totally clear of the
headers and out of the heat. It also makes it allot easier to change the
filter.
