RONAL Wheels in Huntington Beach CA is CLOSING

#1

I am all for supporting our venders, I am on 99% of my cars goods. But Ronal is closing down, there are I believe two wheel models they have that will work for our cars. I just wanted to share the Craigslist article I found. I am gonna go check it out today. I will let you know if i find some good deals. But in the ad it states wheels starting at 60 bucks each cash and carry. So I figure for a street set for my car 240 for a set of four isn’t all that bad. I am still ordering my PR1.2 for track wheels. Heres the link.

Ok, so i went down there, NO wheels that will really work for us. They had their BBS reps but were sold out, and they weren’t at the listed prices. Oh well, I thought i would check it out. I DID end up buying a nut/bolt storage unit. So i will be in the gargae clearing off a space for it. GOT MY AMEX FINALLY so my PR1.2’s are getting ordered today!

Sixty bucks a wheel is a good price, but consider if you need a replacement wheel (and you will) finding one to match may be a problem.

Konig wheels are only $75.00 to us and I’ve been extremely pleased with the product and the association.

Yeah, I just am not a huge fan of the Empi style wheels. I am ordering the Pro Race 1.2. and once I finish HPDE and am eligible to race with a provisional license, I will buy a set of Dforce LTW for back ups.

The only Ronal wheels that interest me are the Teddy Bear ones. Do they still have any of those. They’d be great for the HPDE sessions!

thats funny you mentioned that, because i asked if they had any. Thought it would get a good laugh if i threw some on and painted them baby blue and pink HAHA.
