Track day on Friday see Seat-Time.com. Lots of track time for the $.

Traditionally Laura arrives Friday afternoon and cooks up a low country boil. If we’re going to do it this year we need to figure out who’s interested and plans to be on site by, I dunno, 7PM. If we get some interest, we’ll next have to sweet-talk Laura into doing all the work. If you’re in for the low country boil, pls speak up. Assume $10/person unless she says otherwise.

I’ll be at RR Friday evening for SpecE30 bonding, but I’m going to miss Saturday’s racing. #1 wife is throwing a wedding part at our house Saturday and I’m unable to escape and evade. Fred will be attending and I imagine he’ll dream up something for lunch Saturday.

Looks like we are up to 19 entries for the weekend! Maximize those Toyo Bucks! I’m driving down by myself and have an extra spot in my car if anyone needs a ride or wants to caravan. Leaving from the Atlanta/Smyrna area sometime after 12pm on Friday.

Who’s going to be at the track early enough Friday evening that they’ll available for going out to Mx at 6:30-7:00. I invited Jon Felton the NASA-FL director to do Mx chow with us. Mx with the SE SpecE30 crowd is always ALWAYS a blast.

I think we are short a few on the entry list. I see Ken Bains running TT. I thought he runs spec e30? Also Eskew and McKay have talked about coming. I’ll be down around lunch on Friday to do some Test n Tune.

Compliance checking for RR.

Some time on Sunday prior to the race, open up your DME and bring it to me. I’ll take a look and then put a security seal on it. If you are concerned that something in your DME might not pass inspection, borrow a DME from someone else, I’ll inspect it/seal it and you’ll be good.

“Open” doesn’t mean removed from your car. Open means you’ve bent the little tabs back and have removed it’s top.

If you have multiple DMEs, I’ll happily inspect and seal them all.

If you have a DME that’s never been opened, as indicated by unmarked tabs on it’s case, don’t open it. Bring it as-is and I’ll put the seal on it.

Everyone: Pls bring some spare DMEs so there’s some available to be borrowed. Might want to put your name on it.

This isn’t about “gotcha”. If you’re dumb enough to bring me a DME that doesn’t look kosher, you can borrow my spare for Sunday.
