Autometrics, the Porsche Race outfit in Charleston just grabbed 16Jan at Roebling. Therefore 16Jan will be open track for cheap. That turns the relatively staid 17-18 PCA DE, into a pretty fun 3 day weekend.

On the track day, as long as we don’t tell them that we are racing, we might get away with it for a while. The Autometrics Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars are so much faster then we are they might burst out laughing if we mention that we were racing while they were lapping us every couple of minutes.
But if we race during the PCA DE sessions, they are liable to figure it out when we come out of turn 9 three wide and the outside guy heads for the tower shortcut.
