Rockingham Thread

Yep, it is on the schedule. I am looking forward to it. We need to spread the word and get at least 20 cars there, in the past Spec e30 dominated the Rock events with the best racing, most cars, most beer spikes, and largest quantity of vomit produced.

One of the best things about the rock is you can bring folks to watch and they can actually see the whole racetrack! The town of Rockingham is also a great place to go cruising…Travis and I found a great Honky-Tonk called Sarah’s…unfortunatly we have never stayed sober enough to drive there again. Also the garages are really top notch there…I promise it will be worth the trip, I plan to personally set a new level of hell raising at this event.

There were a lot of beer spikes - you had to dodge the cans frequently during the weekend. And Laura’s low country boil was awesome.

By far, the most fun I have had at the track. We will be there for sure.

Last year I left with a mauled rear fender and bent frame.

I never been to the Rock b4. Only the dragway next door. But I should have my Spec car ready to “Rock and Roll” by then :laugh: get it?

Oh you’re going to love Fartbref (Al, short for Alison I think). You’ll love Al’s low and sultry voice. And what happens at the Rock stays at the Rock, I’m told. We’re all consenting adults here. Albeit some more consenting, and some more adult, then others.

It happens to be the same weekend as the Peachtree Road Atlanta DE, which I help run. Can’t exactly get away.

However, I scored a small supply of PPG-branded replacement windshields. I might be able to convince Patton to tote a few along for you guys.

I would have said installation is available, but after making a mess of Chi Row’s windshield replacement, I need to resume my amateur status. The end product was well-installed but it took way too long.

Free tip of the day: If you still have the plastic retaining strip, junk it and find or buy one of the softer rubber ones. Still a PITA to get in but at least they don’t break.

Me to. I will bring enough Maddog 20/20 for all. If I get all my things done by thes time it will will be my first time with my e30 car on a round track. I can’t wait to meat all you guys and girls :wink:

OK, you guys are funny. I did reserch a found out Fartbref is a guy. Why does he use the hot chick image? Any one chould make that mistake…
