Has any official ruling been made as to the legality of IE rockers at this point?

No. It will be among the rule change requests I submit next month tho. I’ve multiple people in the industry telling me that there’s no difference in the geometry of valve lift so it would be silly to dis-allow a ~30% common failure point.
