Okay, I’ll be there too.
That “sir” thing sounds kinda English. Cool. I’ll tell Laura and we’ll see how that works with inter-family relations.

I am trying to change my schedule to attend this. It seems timely given the fact that I have to fly to Mexico City the next day…it will prepare me for the awful food down there!
Same here. I do need to bring some stuff up to Patton and OPM so this might be good timing.
Afraid of a little precipitation… Sounds like you need to be running in thunder instead of Spec E30
Julio -
Thanks for putting this together. It was great to sit down for some food, lies, laughs, stories, discussion of vehicle dynamics…
It was like a race weekend without all the hard work.
Successes from the evening:
PS - Matt - Since you wrapped up your E30stang project, here’s the next target:
Harness’ next project
PPS - Just like every race weekend, M3Bill was not in the pack.
Nice, Steve, nice…
I left a message on someone’s cell phone last night encouraging you to show up. I can only assume I had a wrong number since I didn’t hear back.
Have fun in Mexico City. Are you meeting with Telmex about a Spec E30 sponsorship deal?
But every cloud has a silver lining. Did I mention I love my new daily driver (thank you Robert!)

Just so everyone is clear on this: Matt Harness was NOT in Georgia yesterday. That was Michael.
We may look similar and drive the same race car, but I assure you, we are different people.
Matt
Oops. Sorry. It’s just that you are both tall, fast, and have great toys.
M. Harness was a pleasure to be with last night. M. Harness was missed terribly.
A few additions to the findings last evening:

3. The group eagerly awaits Road Atl predictions from Steve “Carnac the Magnificent” D
The good news is McKay will run a 41 flat.
The bad news is it will be on a Hall County breathalyzer.

Actually I seriously considered the motor from my youngest’s 325is DD (don’t tell him I said that). Luckily the Mobergs found me a (well-used) motor in Asheville.

That really was dumb luck how that all worked out. I was kinda hoping Bob had sourced you a motor so I might be able to hoard that one for myself. What a sweet deal.
Hope Bob has got everything finished up so you don’t miss RA. Is the tranny in Rock Hill?
