Road Atlanta video

Here’s footage from Sunday’s race:

Google video hasn’t been working so well for me today. It still won’t "pass" the video of Saturday’s race, but I’ll post that up here when it goes through.

Great video. Thanks. What is the prognosis on the engine?

Great video Mike. That really took b$#$ to race that hard after the front brake broke. Best of luck getting it fixed soon.

nice video - hope you get the car sorted out soon. I think I know of someone (on east coast or there abouts IIRC) selling bottom end of M20 for relatively cheap and supposedly it’s in good shape. Let me know if you are interested and I can dig out info.

Igor

sorry to here about your motor. That was some good driving though. Who was bump drafting you down the back stretch?

That was me, I had a good run but I was hoping we could work together to catch Patton and then maybe Carlton. That all went out the window when I got the run out of 5…

Great Stuff Mike. Thanks for posting. I am looking forward to the Saturday vid if the system will allow you to post it.

Have you been able to diagnose what cause the engine to blow? I am wondering if the 944 induced off course excursion damaged the oil pan? You went over that curb pretty hard.

Best of luck getting it back together.

Thanks Dave. I told Mike I’d do a little touch up on the bumper at the next event.

I’ve also got some great video of the start, but I’ve no idea how to upload it to the web. I’ll work on that. Any hints? I have a newer sony mini dv set up.

I just use Windows Movie maker to capture then go to video.google.com to upload.

that’s the best way to go^^^^^

You just need to correct firewire cable. As soon as you connect the camera to your computer it will recognize the camera. Once you capture the footage you want, save the data and make sure it is less than 100mb.

If it’s over 100mb, you can use the Google Uploader and it will work.
