At East Coast Nats folks seemed to really like our parking area on top of the hill. We had a nice breeze, a great viewing area, power, and we were away from the rat race. On the downside, it was a long hump to get to the DE pits for driver’s meetings. Numerous SE types expressed interest in making that parking area our permanent RA home. If that’s what you guys want, I’ll make it happen.
I liked the fact that it was really easy for us to all park together. I didn’t mind walking a little more.
The top of the hill is a long ways from hot showers, but cold showers are available at impound. During much of the year a cold shower feels pretty good after a race, altho it’s a little tough to shave in it.
For East Coast Nats we coordinated for porta potties to be put in our location. We need to be emotionally prepared for trouble in this respect. So if having a porta pottie next to your trailer is a must have, now is the time do publically discuss your incontinence. I will try to ensure we have porta potties for our events. In the event of failure of the formal process I’m not beyond acquiring one, ah, informally.

In the pic below the primary area for us would be the paved areas in the lower blue box. There is power both in the asphalt area and also in the surrounding areas.
