Road Atlanta 8/3 and 8/4

Who is racing?
Who is showing up for moral support?

I know, I’ve checked the entry list already, thus the need to drum-up some chatter.

Let’s challenge the Palacios with the mystery driver form MTI.
Will the MTI Stig be there to drive a Spec e30 car?

Will Brandon Pantas show up to race with us?

#3

Will Scott Gress make the trip from Savannah?

How 'bout Geiger and Robinson?

New guys Ryan and Ben?

Then there is always Damion…who is Damion?

I’ll be there for moral support, possibly in a mystery (street) ride. The new 218 still has as many pieces on the ground as on the car.

#5

Ryan and Ben will be there!!!

#6

I got back from Afghanistan two weeks ago and this will be my first race in the last year. It should be interesting and I might be a bit rusty…

#7

Moral support…

#8

I’ll be there. I have morale support responsibilities, don’t you know. It’s not enough to just be a source of cheery optimism, I also have to show up. With beer.

Speaking of beer. We need to get Devinney to show up and throw another Miata lovefest with a cooler full of beer. Then the Miatas, 2 of them at last count, both under drinking age when we did this last year, don’t show up again and SpecE30’s drink all the beer.

Of course we think fondly of Miaters while we drink Steve’s beer so the idea works perfectly.

#9

Richard, welcome back!
I’m thinking both the Palacios will be there to race with. Add Sandro and Lako and there should be some competition in the front pack.

Did Lako get a new engine?

Testing the 190-v1.5 this Sunday with Chin at Road Atlanta. If all good, I look forward to getting back on 8/3 and 8/4.

Danny Parkhurst is awesome and a magician! I highly recommend Danny!

Special thanks to Danny for his fantastic (and timely) work, Robert for the use of his shop-tools-air-elec-rags, and Steve D for the donor car.

If we get “real” lucky (Daft Punk) other parts of Steve’s donor car may end up on the 191-v2.0.

I have a wedding to attend Saturday but will be there for moral support on Sunday.

It’s great to have the Fishman back! Glad you’re home safe. Thanks for your service. We’re buying the beer.

I’m in; just registered. I could not miss 2 days in the frying pan that is RA in August. Looking forward to seeing all - have not been out since Roebling.

Jon and Robert,

It is great to be back! I pulled the car out of storage and have it all prepped with exception of the front brakes. The right front brake caliper seems to be sticking so I’m replacing both front calipers. $48 each from Amazon for ATE calipers without a core charge isn’t bad and free shipping with Amazon Prime.

Jon, welcome back! Michael, weddings are overrated.

I am hoping by Sunday I will have all the kinks worked out of the new car. Still working this week trying put all the “go-fast” parts on to even try to run with you guys when i only have RA-1’s.

#17

Can I ride shotgun?

#18

Hoping to come up for moral support on Sunday…I at least need to experience the sights and sounds of the track again!

#19

The parking map indicates that we don’t have the pro pits so we’ll packed in up on the hill. I won’t be on site until 9ish Friday night. Those that are getting there earlier, pls aggressively defend our parking area. This is going to suck for power hookups.

Pantas has finished the car. Should be fun watching Brandon try to race up front with his old RA1 tires…
