My road car makes a resonating noise in 5th gear at highway speeds. It’s only in 5th, and only at an indicated 65-80 or so. Go fast enough and it gets quiet. Downshift and it disappears. Guibo seems okay.
Does this mean my trans is failing? It’s butter smooth, the best manual trans I’ve driven and supposedly was a very low mileage one (~60k on it).
