Any thoughts on this website?

Just wondering if this is worth doing rather than sending my head of and potentially paying 7-800 to get it done.

If you didn’t bend valves, just take it to a good machine shop. Check around a make sure they know what they are doing. It will cheaper than the reman and you will know the quality. They can surface, grind valves, check springs, etc.

Does anyone know a reputable machine shop within an hour of Baltimore?

I’d send it to Chuck Baader in Birmingham, AL. He knows M20 heads better than a local machine shop and he’ll charge less. He’s a member here.

Vines Automotive http://www.vinesauto.com/ charged me $650 including shipping and i kept the old head - didn’t have to pay to ship it back. It was worth it to me not to have to fool with a machine shop and carrying the part back and forth. With the reman head i pulled the old one and put the new one in fairly quickly without having to wait on a machine shop.
