this is a REBUILT 1989 2.5 L6(M20) BMW engine and REBUILT transmission to fit it. They are completely clean and painted, im done and don’t really have anything to put them in. the head on the engine is new!! All gaskets were replaced and timing belt is brand new. im looking to get about $800 out of this deal but ill take consideration to serious offers. pictures are below and thank you for looking at my GEM. call me or text me anytime for more info (904) 624-9213 ask for jeff. He is actually in NE Florida near Jacksonville. I am gonna call him at lunch and see if he still has it.

I called and talked to the guy. The tranny is an automatic, and he wants $600 for just the engine. Sounds like the bottom end is all original just over 100k miles while the head has had most components replaced. I don’t really have a good method of getting the engine back to my house and the drive to Jax is fairly long, but I am considering it.

If you can get the engine to Savannah we can load it up in Al Kritter’s trailer for hand-off at RA. Assuming you’re going to RA.
