Rear Springs Compressed?

I just installed bilstein sports and H&R race springs on my 87 325i as well as poly RTAB and subframe bushings. When the car is on the ground, the rear springs are almost completely compressed. The 3 middle coils are touching each other. This also gave me alot of negative camber as well. My question, Is the compressed spring correct/common on these cars because it doesn’t look right to me. I am a newbie to the BMW world so if someone could enlighten me, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Yes, that is how they all look.

Why are the springs so compressed? It doesn’t make sense to me why you would have so little travel before they bottom out.

Progressive rate. As the coils bind the rate goes up.
