Rear Camber - Eccentrics

#1

We’re just finishing up my teamates car and have gottn to rear alignment. The car has a subframe that was bought from TC Motorpsorts with the eccentrics installed.

On the drivers side we can get 2.8 neg camber max. On the pass side we can only get 1.8 neg:(

Why so litle camber? What do you think the chances are it’s due to a bent trailing arm?

Is there a quick and dirty way to check?

Any thoughts?

As always…Big thanks!!!

Are you effectively simulating full race weight to include fuel and driver weight? This will affect your camber and alignment. Did you remove the rubber spacers above and below the springs? Removing will lower the car a bit and may help your camber.

Edit after lunch: How much camber are you looking for? More camber = less available braking force. I haven’t settled on what I believe to be the perfect rear camber setting, but I’m trying ~2 at Road Atlanta in a few weeks.
