Appreciate input - I am replacing my radiator. Rules state:
9.3.5.1.1. Any radiator may be used, provided it is mounted in the original location,
maintains the same plane as the original core, closely matches the factory height
and width, and requires no body or structure modification to install.
Is the coolant reservoir bottle considered part of the radiator as it serves no other function? If a radiator is replaced with one that doesn’t require a reservoir it seems kind of silly to keep it, and I like the idea of getting rid of a bit of clutter and potential source of leaks.
